Everyone has a personal story when it comes to Cancer and all too often this hits too close to home for comfort. The Cancer Council does an amazing job in providing research funding among other activities to help in the search for a cure and to improve treatments.
So we are asking everyone to dig deep to help us raise money for this great cause. The Cancer Council does a amazing job to help with awareness and research efforts in cures and treatments.
We are ready to go on this adventurer……. 3,800 km from Brisbane to Darwin the long fun way through the middle of Queensland over some of our great roads designed to make these cars rattle, shake and break.
We have our Shit Box —a bargin $500 1995 Falcon that has done 380,000 km ( just run in) makes some interesting noises and occasionally takes up smoking….. This year we are going in with the theme of the blues brothers and will be converting our shit box to the Blues mobile shit box.
So please dig deep as the money is going to a great cause that may be helping you or someone very close to you.The rally also stops at local communities along the way to camp, bringing with it great economy boosts for the locals with 200 + cars buying fuel, drinks as well as our camping fees going to local charities and schools and associations, helping even more in the community. Just remember every little bit helps and the money is going to a great cause no matter what the donation size you can make anything would be greatly appreciated.
We have set our goal to raise a total of $10,000 but with a late acceptance into this years rally this will be a challenge. If you would like your company logo on the car to show even more support corporate sponsorships are available and we have plenty of space.
We are looking forward to having a great adventure to help out the Cancer Council and bring you all along with us.
Thanks For your Support

Shitbox Rally is the adventure of a lifetime challenging participants and their cars, worth no more than $1,500, on a 7 day drive across Australia to raise money for cancer research.
The rally is not a race – it’s a fun, colourful, unpredictable adventure with participants travelling at their own pace in smaller groups. Vehicles often break down but “we never leave anyone behind” and each night is spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the day’s achievements. It all adds up to an incredible opportunity to see Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make lifelong friends, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.
Since it’s inception the rally has been the largest fundraiser for the Cancer Council nationally.
Shitbox Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Shitbox Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
$41 million over the past 13 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
